by Gajanan (View MyPage) on Jan 28, 2011 11:27 PM | Hide replies chinese growth looks gr8, it's more facinating to ears. about 10% chinese are surely benefited by the growth of chinese economy. but the gap between other 90% population and this 10% in wide-wide enough to bring unrest in future.. may be 30-40 yrs or so.. surely chinese ppl will want their basic rights, to express themselves, to speak their mind etc.. etc.. whether they get it or not.. they will want to experiment with it for sure.. as one old chinese saying goes.. all that glitters is not gold 中国的发展看起来伟大，听起来更动听。大约10%的中国人在中国经济发展中获利。但这部分人和其他90%的人之间的差距在扩大，未来足以引起动乱...可能是30-40年左右... 中国人肯定会要求表达自己和说出自己想法的基本权利...不管是否成功...他们肯定将尝试... 就像一句中国古话所说的...并不是所有发光的都是金子。

by sunil nair (View MyPage) on Dec 07, 2010 12:40 AM | Hide replies Reading all the messages given below , I just have one doubt - Are we so slow in improving because we are so good in complaining ? We read an article on China and instead of thinking of ways to duplicate that success here , we are more interested in complaining about everything associated with our country - the politicians , the beaurocrats , the religions , OTHER people ; infact everybody except ourselves . Are we so impotent that we can't do anything for our country except sit and blame others ? Any improvement we need to make for our country starts with ourselves . Tomorrow if we decide that we won't dump our garbage on the streets , pay bribes or jump queues , day after it will spread . It will take time but eventually the whole country will improve . And for all those losers who tell me that i'm impract

You are right Sunil, we Indians are just busy in complaining. Its because in India, a person is not Indian- but a tamil, gujrati, bihari, marathi, etc. whereas in CHina, all are CHINESE.
May be this be the reason. 
你说得对，Sunil。我们印度人就是忙于抱怨。因为在印度，人们不是印度人，而是泰米尔人、古吉拉特人、比哈尔人、马拉斯拉人等。而在中国，所有人都是中国人。可能这就是原因。
