NO comparison
by Nirman (View MyPage) on Jun 11, 2011 02:31 PM | Hide replies India should compare itself with pakistan and bangaladesh . comparing itself with China is just foolish. The way chinese are going they compare themselves with europe and the USA,though chinese villages are in very poor state. But seeing chinese determination in every field , they will make their villages the best in 5-10 years. As far as india is concerned it has to do reality check in all the fields. seems very tough 印度应该将自己与巴基斯坦和孟加拉国比较。印度将自己和中国比较简直是愚蠢的。虽然中国农村潦倒不堪，不过按照中国人的处事方式，他们是将自己与欧洲和美国比较。鉴于中国人在所有领域的决心，他们将在5-10年的时间里让农村变得最好。就印度而言，印度必须在所有领域审视现实，这看起来非常严峻。

by shiva (View MyPage) on Jun 05, 2011 08:32 PM | Hide replies China has the can-do spirit. We prefer to be moaners - things are bad, going to be worse etc. Also, our past was glorious, fture even better, but present always lousy! This is the best time for the youth to seize the chances and make a new Bharat of their dreams. But when they get pleasure in being arm-chair critics, nothing much can be expected. Look at Li Na's French Open success. She was a thorn in the bush, as she fought with officialdom. But she is feted and China rises as one to celebrate. For us , we find every reason to put down the success of our own. We need governance and rule of law. Those who lead are put down by others who stretch their legs and wait for manna to fall from heaven. Chinese want progress and are ready to work for it. We can only make faces at them saying they have no democracy. What

This makes us to remove the differences among the Indians in terms of Language, Caste, Religion, Race etc and march towards the 'common cause' which is the development of India 
This brings the unity among us and allow us to think for the better life style in India 
这让我们印度人在语言、种姓、宗教、种族等方面消除差异，从而为“共同的事业”——印度的发展而大踏步前进。

Rediff is only printing hard facts and reality. China is progressing at massive speed and it is visible to the people around the world. It doesn't matter if they are copying US, Europe or anything else.
It is also a fact that reading such facts leaves us Indians frustrated since our government is not progressing at such fast pace (at least not visibly) and we wonder how we are going to be a superpower in the next 30-40 years. 
Rediff只是发表无可动摇的事实和现实。中国正快速进步。全世界的人都有目共睹。如果他们模仿美国、欧洲或者其他国家，这并不重要。看到这样的事实会给我们印度人带来挫折感，这也是一个事实。我们zf并不是以如此快的速度进步（至少不是明显的），我们纳闷如何才能在未来的30-40年里成为超级大国。

Chinese politicians may not be elected by ppl but they only work in the betterment of people.
