Details of Tropical Low 29U at 8:00 pm AWST:
Intensity: tropical low, sustained winds near the centre of 55 kilometres per hour with wind gusts to 85 kilometres per hour.
Location: within 85 kilometres of 11.5 degrees South, 126.2 degrees East , 315 kilometres north of Kalumburu and 480 kilometres north northeast of Kuri Bay .
Movement: west southwest at 12 kilometres per hour .
Tropical Low 29U is located to the north of Kalumburu and is moving to the west southwest. It is expected to develop into a tropical cyclone during Sunday.
29U is expected to move to the southwest overnight and on Sunday, most likely remaining well off the Kimberely coast. There is a small risk it takes a track closer to the Kimberely coast overnight or during Sunday. From Monday, 29U is expected to take a more westerly track away from the Kimberley coast. Increased rain, wind and wave impacts are possible along the north and northwest Kimberley coast from overnight tonight and during Sunday.
