I couldn't agree with you more! I think most people on this thread have been trying to hold an intelligent conversation. Perhaps I'm the only person who has sounded abrasive!
When I asked her to give definitions and questioned the logic in her topic, she was immediately on the defensive. Nevertheless, this is not important. I'm pleased with the fact that most people responding to this thread have expressed a positive view about life.

The world is not beautiful,so beautiful it is.
No one could have a perfect life,ecxept you think it is .At the same time,your idea towards life is the one really matters.So,make it a meaningful one,no matter what happend or what will happen on you .

life is life,it's like the character of time.
it flows all the way from birth to death.it's a cycle which you start from a point and end at the same point.if we don;t take the unconfirmed world of beyond into account,we have simply exsisted in this world.what people take for meaning of life---wealth,social situation,fame,would turn into null after his death.
actually,life is meaningless.
we need not talk about the meaning of life in a shallow way which sounded like word tricks.
life is meaningless as well as the time goes by emotionlessly.
meaning is notion created by human just to define the character of things.it means what we think they are.but do you think they are exactly what we think they are?
Volcanic eruption hurricane running across the oceans and the coasts.to us they mean disaster.but they exsisted before human exsisted.and actually made no harm to the earth herself. what's the meaning of disaster in them?

the point is wrong if we take one's offsprings for the meaning of his life as well.

Life is meaningless. We are here for nothing.
so forget the meaning of life what human defined and dig out the happiness and pleasure whatever the situation it is.
