After about one hour preparation, all things got ready. All of us started our cooking. The smoke was everywhere in the valley. We cooked rice and different dishes, fishes which we dried before and so on. All of us do our job carefully. Our teacher was luck enough at that day because he needn’t do anything whole day. What he does was walk around to have look. Talk with us or tell us how to make our lunch better, but he never help us to do something. He always said it was our job. He could advise, but do nothing. You could image that, about 30 kids cooking in the valley. It was much fun there. We put all things on the ground or on the big rock. (There was no news paper at that time. If so, we could put our foods on it. We never know what news paper looks like.)
The time was flying, we done all jobs a last. All of us sit around our “table” which was made by stone and enjoy our lunch. Our teacher walked here and there to taste our foods and give some evaluations. One word here always said was: “You guys did very good job, it is the best food which I never have before! I am really proud of you!” in fact, we known the taste of our lunch was not good enough. What he said was encourage us to do better in the future.
We had a competition after our lunch, which was mountain-climbing competition. About three to five of our class leaders climbed to the top of mountain to set the flag first, and they were waiting on the top of mountain. We all started to climb the mountain from the bottom of mountain. The first 10 students who reach the flag which set on the top of mountain were winners. All of the winners could get the prize from our teacher, which were pencils, pens, exercise books and so on. It was the best important things for us at that time, because it means we could save some money.
