来自Iman:
In this pretty picture, he is wearing a traditional Chinese costume - a changshan and is literally a "long shirt with trousers". It is usually straight collared, with coiled buttons down the front. Its color and design are in a traditional chinese style.
As he sees himself as a vital part of Chinese civilization, traditional costumes for him on stage plays an important role in China history and culture. He wear the style to show his appreciation for Chinese culture.
Even his long hair is tied up nicely in a topknot. An ancient saying "Chinese believed that cutting hair is just like cutting off a part of their parents. Also tying the hair neatly is an entire obedience philosophy to the idea of respecting elders. He is incidentally holding a beautiful fan with painted mountains and behind him is a painting of mountain landscape
Some information of chinese paintings :
In shan shui paintings, there are three basic elements that make up a painting: -
Mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. Hence the Chinese name shan shui ("Mountain-water") is for landscape art! Mountains are the "heart" of a Chinese landscape painting. They are the center point of a vast landscape, usually jutting upward toward Heaven. Or they are a steep green monolith covered with craggy rocks and ridges. Behind these surreal landscapes is a very deep, philosophical meaning. The landscape surrounding the mountain entices the viewer to partake in its beauty and contemplate the meaning of the mountain - or sometimes, the vast emptiness surrounding it. The fog surrounding the mountain is the "spiritual void" which
must fill in to contemplate the painting.
According to traditional Chinese beliefs, mountains are considered sacred. They are the places where the immortals reside and are very close to Heaven, both physically and spiritually. This belief is reflected very strongly in many of the paintings.
Indeed a very refreshing and delightful picture of him!
