              　　Vinni As we are allies of Japan and the Philippines is a US protectorate. I seriously doubt that China would attack them. It would mean we would come to their defense and that would be a war which China does not want.

                      　　Vinnie,any country invading another will have to be willing to take losses themselves.The US didnt have the stomach to sustain anymore losses in vietnam n they withdrew..China invaded vietnam and after sustaining massiive losses,they also withdrew.I bet you if that carrier was sunk by a lucky shot from antiquated weapons of the opponents,it will cause a gigantic loss of face for china...1 modern kamikaze will be devastating.

                        　　SeaPath, the Chinese are becoming a force not to be reconed with. At this time we may be able to still beat them, however that won't last long. We are a dying empire, like pre-WWI England. The only reason they can't beat us at this time is due in no small part to the military spending from Republican leadership. But we are in insurmountable debt and our fate is sealed and another nail is added to the coffin everytime they pass a new Quantitative Easing bill or raise the debt sealing to infinite levels. Well, I'm going to go see the new Red Dawn movie and get ready for the coming war between the U.S. and China. No one wants it but it yet seems unavoidable.
