我只是认为在大学那种地方“LOTR fan”不能作为自己的身份……
而且现在也不一定是人人皆爱魔戒。。。
我只是担心我本科出去的时候似乎正好是霍比特人上映时期
我要那时候跟人家说我爱LOTR人家就会认为我是个爱跟风的人……
呃……不过人家怎么想不要紧了，自己确实喜欢就好……
只是受学长影响比较大……说尽量不要说时下太火的东西……
不过也许这种话本身就是没理的……

彻底对你无语了。。。没人说要以LOTR fan的身份来label自己啊，我们只是讨论essay写作。再说了，我讨论的是LORT的书，不是电影，不然我也不会说quenya之类的东西了。
我觉得在美国应该很少会有人像中国人这么无聊吧，说别人跟风什么的，呵呵。美国人自己可以不喜欢popular的东西，但是他们决不会因为你喜欢popular的东西而把你定义成一个浮躁浅薄的人。
再再说，魔戒怎么样也不算时下流行吧，经典的魔幻文学作品是完全可以登入大雅之堂的，都不知道你在担心什么自卑什么，呵呵

这位同学要努力啦~楼主用的有难度的单词都是SAT单词，大家可是都要考的，可不能只考SAT物理充数啊。
还有admitted by a college这个是标准专用语，可能是因为你没了解有关申请大学的东西所以不知道吧。想我们这些明年出国的，天天都跟admission这个词打交道，做梦想的都是admit，哈哈

那个……其实外国也会这么想的。记不记得哈利波特4里面，罗恩问秋张，你是这个赛季才开始支持龙卷风魁地奇球队的吗？秋冷冷的说，我从4岁就开始支持他们了。走开以后，哈利很生气的指责罗恩，罗恩耸耸肩说大部分人都是今天他们赢了联赛冠军以后才开始支持他们的。。。
我觉得出国的时候霍比特人上映没啥不好啊，重要的是姿态摆对。如果摆出一副老牌指迷的姿态，向新人们介绍他们绝对没花时间研究过的深入中洲知识，告诉他们你很早就开始看这东西了，那绝对不会让人以为是跟风的~所以重要的是自己的内涵哈~
所以要好好向指吧学术大神们学习。

我是在英国长大的，所以不用考！娃哈哈....
SAT听说很难，
看起来也很难，我们这些就不去想了，
我文学可以说是学不走，上次考试，3篇ESSAY，我前两篇只写了2段，最后一片还写了一些，所以到头来还得了个D，我很高兴
不过英语语言我还是过了C的！哈哈哈
现在在读A-LEVEL。。毕业后准备去国内整整玩一年才读大学


SAT不难啊，人家都说是O-levels水平
文学和语言都是A-star的飘过
