Come to think of it, my Irish great-great grandfather's last name was O'Wang. Could it be that the winner and me are long lost relatives? I'm pretty sure we are. ;)

She took 6 months to come forward which tells me she is quite intelligent. Likely put all her affairs in order, declined the press conference, bags packed and a plane ticket in her purse and she's off to other parts of the world to live.

I agree...there must be some way to protect the privacy of individual, yet allow for some confirmation that a winner won, fair and square.
You can be guaranteed I will not ham it up for the cameras. I will do my best to look as sad as possible. I will not become a poster child shrill for OLG or any other lottery corp.

I have the same thought.. she probably has all her team of legal, accountants, financial consultants etc.. all lined up before claiming her prize. She has a ticket to Korea and come back with a different face so no one can recognize her.
