Responsibilities:
- To support the procurement transformation project of current project for which involves the following key elements:
* Spend Analysis
* Procurement Skills Assessment (Questionnaire)
* Sourcing Strategy analysis
* Material categorisation analysis
- To review existing process streams and to understand quick wins long-term improvements and on-going changes within the procurement function
Requirements:
General Skills/Experience:
- University Degree
- Able to lead and work effectively in teams as appropriate
- Business insight and acumen
- International Mobility
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written (Good English is a prerequisite)
- Professional attitude/demeanour, honesty
- Self Motivated and ambitious with ability to motivate others
General Consulting Skills:
- Good stakeholder management and communication
- Be able to manage his/hers own workload and have a high self initiative
- Good researcher and in data gathering and analysis
- Good powerpoint skills
- Good MS Office skills particularly with Excel
- Team player and open minded willing to challenge and voice his/hers ideas
- Good cross cultural skills
Specific Procurement Criteria:
- Understanding of procurement terms/concepts and practices such as:
* Strategic Sourcing
* Supplier segmentiation
* Spend Analysis
* Category strategy
* Supplier classification and development
- Having worked in procurement/supply chain environment before is a prerequisite
- Having worked in SAP procurement projects before is also a great advantage
