可以预见,此题的标准答案会是A。但B也是正确答案。这个题目不知道在贴吧讲过多少次了。可能有人会说,must表示推测时不能用于否定句。其实不然,must表示推测却出现在否定句中的例子俯拾皆是: I can hear the Brown's phone bell ringing but no one is answering it; they mustn't be at home. (Eckersley) Mr. Green mustn't have received my letter, otherwise he would have replied before now. (Eckersley) The person who left it there must not be hungry, since they were so careless. (Eckhout)
这题目很神奇。我国的英语测试无一例外地「要求」把not放在分词之前,否则就判为错误。这无疑是很可笑的,因为not放在分词之后并不是很罕见的事儿。这也在贴吧里讲过,比如: There he stood looking after the vanishing carriage and knowing not what to do. (薄冰) Knowing not to play with matches and gasoline are examples of this.(Sun-Times)
