A member pointed me to a video that was showing Venus doing "flip" before the Transit. I was going to helioviewer.org and can confirm that the sattelite-images show this phenomena: (in this case SWAP 174, as all others turned out to be too darken around the sun)


And this is what helioviewer says: "Venus appears to swing north and south in this movie – this was predicted by the operators of SWAP at the Royal Observatory of Belgium Solar Data Influences Center. It is caused by the orbit of the PROBA2 spacecraft around the Earth creating very different points of view of at different times in the orbit."

It was noted by many that Venus was crossing the Sun while doing a wavelike wobble.This showed up distinctly on a NASA Explorer video, using their own SDO images. The images above are from the SDO satellite, which has a fixed position in front of the Sun and does not move. Note the wobble pattern is also discernable on images, taken by the SOHO satellite. SOHO orbits the La Grange L1 point in a tiny circle once a MONTH. Neither of these satellites move about back and forth several times in an hour.
