！！！2012-06-29 12:45:44

A new shot of Merlin from Series 5 to feast your eyes on in order to celebrate his appearance at COMIC CON!

Heads up! Spoilers!
Our last day in Pierrefonds!
We extended our stay in France because we’d been told there were two big units happening in the courtyard on Monday and knew we’d be crushed if we didn’t get to see them.
We weren’t disappointed.
Still amazed how long it takes them to get one shot. So much effort!
I’m short of time here so I’ll give a quick run down of what went down.
Big scene in the courtyard with Arthur and Merlin riding in, and Mordred appearing on the top of the steps. Arthur and Mordred embrace (quote the girl behind me: “What?! We had to wait bloody YEARS to see Arthur and Merlin hug!’)
There was one take where Colin couldn’t get down from the horse and Colin and Bradley both started laughing and then the crowd started giggling and it was lovely.
Alex (for those of you confused, Alex is Mordred) is so cute and seems to get along with the rest of the cast super well. He was hysterical. His robe/cloak/cape thing kept getting caught on the camera guys wheel thing and once under his horses hoof and after about the 4th time, Bradley went ‘It’s alright Alex, it’s not like there’s anyone watching.’ and everyone pretty much lost their shit laughing.
And then the next scene they were doing, where Mordred was asking Arthur if he could go with them, (“Merlin, see to it that he has everything he needs.”) someone was like ‘Alex, we need you over this side of the courtyard.’ and he kind of looked at his horse, and then looked at where he needed to be, shrugged, and began walking away from the horse and one of the crew was like ‘YOU CAN’T JUST LEAVE THE HORSE THERE!’ and she turned to the crowd and was like ‘He just left the horse!’ completely stunned and laughing and he was messing around being like ‘Oh no! The horse!’. And whenever the horse did that ‘brrrrr’ thing with it’s lips, he’d do it back to it and yeah ok Alex is mega cute we’re all going to love him.
Colin was eating almonds out of his jacket as they filmed just as a side note which pretty much killed me. And they were filming him looking all protective and death glarey and I was jelly by the end of it.
When we had about 20 minutes left before we had to leave, the cast came back from their lunchbreak and Colin, Bradley, Angel, Eoin, Tom, Rupert, Alex and Adetomiwa (which I still don’t know how to say just quietly) all walked back in a little pack, and again, we felt really rude having our cameras up and they were getting swamped, so I just kind of stood there staring at them all and freaking out, and Colin and I made eye contact and he smiled at me, and I literally wanted to curl up into a little ball and just die right there on the spot because he’s so perfect and ughhhh it huuuurts.
Then there was a big scene with all the knights and Bradley and Colin and Angel, and the knights were on horses, but the horses were all restless, Eoin’s horse was the worst, and they couldn’t film until the horses were settled, so Bradley was just spread across the steps in the sun, waiting

And then we had to leave so we would get to Paris in time for our Eurostar, and I just cried the entire way back to Compiegne because I was so miserable to be leaving and was so aware that they were all up that hill and we were walking away from them and within the space of a few hours we’d have gone from being meters away from them to being in an entire other country to them and it hurt.
It still hurts today. I am having Pierrefonds/Merlin withdrawals.

XD：“What?! We had to wait bloody YEARS to see Arthur and Merlin hug”】
其实，激动个毛啊囧】they were filming him looking all protective and death glarey and I was jelly by the end of it.
Bradley and Colin and Angel还有众骑士要在马背上拍摄，但所有马都很躁狂，EOIN的马最槽糕，他们必须等马儿安静下来才能继续拍。

I dont own this pic. Maybe it belongs to yava? I'm so sorry I've lost the link.

So jealous of my friend today!! She was sitting on the train this beautiful specimen was sitting in front of her!!

（yeah yeah....zzzzzzzz....)
Gwen
Aithusa
