Subject: Depression over North Gujarat and adjoining Southwest Rajasthan
The depression over North Gujarat and adjoining Southwest Rajasthan moved westsouthwestwards with the speed of 7 kmph during past 3 hours and lay centred at 0830 hrs IST of today, the 07th September, 2025, over the same region near latitude 24.2°N and longitude 71.8°E, 40 km west of Deesa (Gujarat), 50 Km north-northeast of Radhanpur (Gujarat) and 230 km east-northeast of Bhuj (Gujarat).
It is very likely to move nearly westwards and intensify further into a deep depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it would continue to move nearly westwards across Kutch and adjoining Pakistan during subsequent 36 hours.
