It moved slowly west-northwestwards, concentrated into a Depression and lay centred at 0000 UTC of today, the 25th July over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of coastal West Bengal and Bangladesh near Lat. 21.4°N and Long. 89.5°E, about 130 km south of Mongla (Bangladesh, 41958), about 150 km east-southeast of Sagar Island (West Bengal, 42903), about 170 km southeast of Kolkata(West Bengal, 42807).

The Depression over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of coastal West Bengaland Bangladesh moved west-northwestwards with speed of 13 kmph, crossed WestBengal & adjoining Bangladesh coasts between 0200 and 0300 UTC and lay centred at0300 UTC of today, the 25th July over coastal West Bengal and adjoining areas ofNorthwest Bay of Bengal & Bangladesh, near Lat. 21.7°N and Long. 88.8°E
The associated maximum sustained wind speed is 25 kt gusting to 35 kt. The estimatedcentral pressure is 989 hPa.

The Depression over east Madhya Pradesh and north Chhattisgarh moved nearly westwards and weakened into a well marked low pressure area over northwest Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood at 0530 hrs IST of today, the 27th July, 2025.
It is very likely to continue to move nearly westwards across northwest Madhya Pradesh and weaken gradually into a low pressure area during next 12 hours.
