看到一个吧友辟谣女鼠人的帖子，其实有一个重点没说到实际上真正的流传甚广的谣言是：“斯卡文雌鼠生下来是正常的，是改造才使得他们变成了怪物”然而我们来看看2版跑团《角鼠之子》的原文：
Female Skaven serve no other purpose than to propagate their vile species, and they are only slightly conscious or self-aware. Constant application of warpstone narcotics from a young age keeps them blissfully ignorant of events that transpire in the Under-Empire. So cloistered away from the rest of their species are they that some do not learn the Skaven's chittering speech of Queekish, or are proficient in social skills...or so the male Skaven believe.（斯卡文育母从小就不断服用次元石麻醉剂，使得她们仅保留了微弱的意识）
为什么斯卡文鼠人要给育母服用致幻剂？主要是为了让她们处于一种欣快的迷幻状态，从而加速她们不断的顺产。
斯卡文雌鼠是改造生物，这个说法从一开始就是谣言（可能这个是从双尾彗星或者曼光头专栏那穿出来的？我也不知道。）它们就如同种群的蚁后一样，从一开始就是10英尺长，700榜的怪物。
另外需要指出的是，斯卡文本质上是一个落后而愚昧的种族，就如同次元石武器技术被史库里氏族垄断一样，生物改造技术也是只有腐坏氏族的腐坏大师才掌握的，千千万万个斯卡文氏族都维持了特别原始的状态，彼此之间又是竞争对手关系，怎么可能会有条件把每个雌鼠都改造一遍呢？
