So I tell the 3 ladies that just came in that they
can have samples to try our cookies. I look at the girl that came in
last & realized it was Kamei Eri. KAMEI ERI! I have
heard from my friend that she was in town for vacation with her mom but
I did not think that I will bump into her or see her here. The first
thing I blurted out was “Kamei Eri-san desuka?” she said “hai” while
putting her bangs behind her ear, and proceeded to the sample station. I
said “Morning Musume no fan desu” and she said “arigatougozaimasu”
& I also think she said “ureshii” but I don’t remember.. everything
just happened so fast. >.< I do remember telling them that there
were 14 different flavors they can try and she said “I know! I came here
3 times already!” (whole time, I was thinking — where was I??? lol)
Her mother was so cute & nice. Her younger sister was taller than her but cute too, although they didn’t look alike at all. lol They seemed more excited that Eri was recognized more than she was. Eri was more into the cookies! lol I was going to help Eri and her family pick out some gifts but my plan failed because my boss came into the store. Now, this lady, she’s not a store manager.. she’s the “big boss lady”. The general manager. When she comes into the store to check up on us, we have to walk on egg shells. We have to watch what we say and do around her.. So I started to panic. Do I go to the big boss lady or continue to help Kamei Eri, one of my favorite MM member? Seeing Kamei Eri is not something I can do everyday! Of course I wanted to help & talk to Eri. But my first reaction was to run over to the big boss lady & talk to her.
She took me outside to show me something that needed to be fixed but the whole time, I was thinking I have to be inside! So we go back in and I tell the big boss lady.. “the girl in the middle is a Japanese singer”. She smiled and said “well go help her then! ask her for a picture!” She was soo nice about it, but by the time I got to the register, my coworker had already rung them up and when I was bagging their stuff, the 3 of them were walking around the store so I didn’t get to talk to them. :( The only thing I got to tell her was “these are our new flavors” and she said “mou tabeta” & smiled.
When they were about to leave, Eri, her mom and sister bowed and Eri waved at me and my coworker and I thought omg, I have to do something! So I walk over and ask for a handshake. She said sure and stuck out her two hands. I shook her hand with both of my hands too but I was soo cold, my hands were freezing. I told Eri “te ga tsumetakute gomennasai” (sorry my hands are cold) and she said “daijoubu desuyo. watashi no te ga attakai no de choudou ii desu” (it’s ok. my hands are warm so it works out/evens out) I was so happy when she said that. I don’t know why! lol I think it’s because she said my cold hands felt good.. is that weird?? hahaha.
