See Kitchen God Off
Today it is the Kitchen God Festival. To mark this important moment, I wrote a short piece of lyrics and made a short video. Now I put it here, saying to everyone

The pictures were shot in the Summer Palace Park at dusk. It was a beautiful time for enjoying the lake water view against the shades of the West Mountains.

Kitchen God ascends to Heaven to report peace,
In the bustling mortal world, new wishes are released.
Tiny candies exchange for great fortune and grace,
A modest gift, yet the return is a clever embrace.

I bid farewell to the Kitchen God like a workmate,
Chatting and gossiping until the departing gate.
With daily toil, my tears flow in twain,
Year by year, I see you off, with warm affection's strain.

The main activity on the Chinese little New year is to do the great house cleaning, and next is to send off the kitchen god to the heaven for him to report his work to the jade emperor.
