As a platform that respects user choices, I believe Steam also values consumers’ rights and expectations at the time of purchase.
While I understand that Steam's standard refund policy is within 14 days of purchase and no more than 2 hours of playtime, my situation falls outside of that, but I feel that my situation is unique and deserves special consideration. This policy change is equivalent to changing the basis of the service agreement between us, making it impossible for me to continue to enjoy this game on the Steam platform without hindrance, which goes against my original intention to purchase it.
In view of the above, I kindly ask the Steam team to understand my position and consider providing a one-time refund service as a reasonable response to this sudden change. I still firmly believe that Steam is committed to protecting the rights and interests of consumers, and look forward to your consistent user support spirit on this issue.
