Milan captain does the unglamorous work in midfield but his contribution did not go unnoticed by the home crowd, who give him a warm reception when he was replaced in the 71st minute.

Playmaker dictated the game in the middle of the park.
Clarence Seedorf 6.5
Put in a decent shift in the centre of the park but certainly not his best game in a Milan shirt. Missed an absolute sitter in the 40th minute.

The Brazilian fantasista was back to his brilliant best. Mesmerised Lecce with his tricks and flicks and set up two goals.

Youngster helped himself to a double. His electric pace will be giving the Lecce defence nightmares for weeks to come.

Played at the apex of Milan's attacking trident but made little impact. Gave Ibrahimovic little to doubt that he will be a permanent fixture in his new side's attack.

Replaced Pato in the 76th minute and played a part in Inzaghi's goal.
Gennaro Ivan Gattuso 6.0
Midfield rottweiler replaced Ambrosini and was his usual tenacious self. It was his great work on the right that eventually led to the fourth goal.

Came on for the ineffectual Borriello on the hour. Scored and hit the post in an impressive cameo performance.
