    Before start:
    Park brake set 1 2 3
    Master switch on         Green light on
    Fuel cock on         Cover in place
    Fuel tank select lowest
    Elevator trim full range of movement       Trim to takeoff
    Mixture rich
    Propeller high RPM
    Carburettor heat off
    Fuel pump on      Check green light on      Check fuel pressure in the green arc(increase and stabilize)

      Check oil temperture and outside temperture      Cycle throttle

        Power set 1000 RPM
        Generator    Low oil pressure    Starter light out
        Check oil pressure and oil temperture
        Volts 28     Amps positive
        Flap up       Avionics master switch on
        Fuel pump off      Check green light off       Check fuel pressure(decrease and stabilize)
        ICS on       Headset on        1 2 3 4 5 How do you read me ,sir?
        Suction is working         ASI indicate 0        AI stable and wings level     Aeroplane symbol set
        Altimeter check and QNH set
        OBS set runway
        T&B power flag black and ball centred
        DI aligned with compass VSI indicate 0
        ADF set north
        COM 1 set JANDAKOT Ground 124.3 and JANDAKOT Tower 118.1       Test
        COM 2 set ATIS 120.9 and Perth radar 135.25      Test
        ADF set JANDAKOT 281 morse code received
        ADF identify      ADF tracking
        Transponder standby      Squawk 1200

              Fuel cock on     Fuel tank select fullest       Reset the engine time       Reset trim
              Trim to takeoff         Mixture rich       Propeller high RPM
              Check oil pressure and oil temperture
              Power set 1800RPM        Check oil pressure(in the green arc ) and oil temperture(in or below yellow arc)
              Volts 28     Amps positive      CHT working in the green arc
              Suction working in the green arc
              Exercise propeller lever 3 times
              1 RPM decrease    RPM increase
              2 Manifold pressure increase   Manifold pressure decrease
              3 Oil pressure decrease   then   increase(stable)
              Carby.heat on      Carby.   temperture increase     RPM   decrease
              Check magnetos
              Both to left      RPM decrease Exhaust gas temperture increase
              Left    to both    RPM increase   Exhaust gas temperture decrease
