Trim to takeoff Mixture rich Propeller high RPM
Check oil pressure and oil temperture
Power set 1800RPM Check oil pressure(in the green arc ) and oil temperture(in or below yellow arc)
Volts 28 Amps positive CHT working in the green arc
Suction working in the green arc
Exercise propeller lever 3 times
1 RPM decrease RPM increase
2 Manifold pressure increase Manifold pressure decrease
3 Oil pressure decrease then increase(stable)
Carby.heat on Carby. temperture increase RPM decrease
Check magnetos
Both to left RPM decrease Exhaust gas temperture increase
Left to both RPM increase Exhaust gas temperture decrease
Both to right RPM decrease Exhaust gas temperture increase
Right to both RPM increase Exhaust gas temperture decrease
Power idle RPM (test) all lights on all lights off
Check oil pressure and oil temperture
Powe 1000RPM Fuel pump on Green light on Check fuel pressure in the green arc
ASI indicate 0 AI stable wings level
Altimeter check and QNH set OBS set runway
T&B power flag black ball centred
DI aligned with compass
VSI indicate 0 ADF set north
COM 1 COM 2 set for deperture
Transponder standby Squawk 1200 All circuit breakers in
Flap 15 indicate check visual check
Flight control check
Roll L left aileron up right down
Pull back elevator up
Roll R left aileron down right up
Push forword elevator down
Rudder check L R
