According to his official website, Skandar Keynes (Edmund) and his father Randal have returned from their summer trip to the Galapagos Islands. In the picture, Skandar is wearing a ‘Sebastian Keynes’ shirt. Although it says just Randal visited the Galapagos, I presume Skandar went also since he said last December that he planned to do so.
Skandar’s father Randal visited the Galapagos and came back with this T Shirt for Sebastian Keynes the Giant Tortoise. Skandar has been wearing it a lot. Sebastian is grateful to everyone who has become his friend on Facebook!
Skandar also gave an update on his five-year-old cats Puss and Boots. Click here for that story.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Dawn Treader composer David Arnold is hosting the “second annual Concert for Care, a charity event for Care International at the Royal Albert Hall on Oct. 18 that will feature one of the biggest ever gatherings of top movie composers.”
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will play selections of film scores and songs introduced by a dozen men and women who have written some of the most popular film music of recent years. Most of them also will attend a screening of Universal’s “Psycho,” directed by Alfred Hitchcock with music by Bernard Herrmann, at London’s Empire Theatre on Oct. 17 followed by a Q&A session, also in support of Care.
Other composers in attendance include Rachel Portman, Greg Armstrong, George Fenton, Christopher Gunning, Patrick Doyle, and Harry Gregson-Williams, composer of the first two Narnia films. Tickets will be on sale starting August 6, with more names to be announced. You can learn more at the official website ConcertForCare.com.
Digital Spy reports that Liam Neeson (Aslan) will not be starring in Spielberg’s Abraham Lincoln (2011). Neeson, attached to the project since 2006, says he’s too old to play Lincoln. But he will appear as President Johnson in the “civil rights drama Selma” (2011).
