The Ceremony of theNew Now Next Awards was pre tapped on June 8th in Los Angeles, and Jesus Luz was nominated for the "Because You're Hot" Award - which he won (duuh) and was DJing there.
Brazilian site QUEM, reveled that Jesus actually mentionned M during his speech :
" Jesus Luz was one of the highlights of the festival award "New Now Next Awards", held in Los Angeles late on Tuesday (8th). Without his girlfriend, Madonna, the DJ took the stage of the event to receive the award "Because Your Are Hot" and made a humorous speech in honor of the singer.
"I would like to thank, because this is my first award, thanks to everyone who voted for me. I would also like to especially thank Madonna for taking such good care of my body every night" said Jesus, cheered by the audience.
During the ceremony Jesus Luz also DJed at the After Party. After the event, he flew to Kiev, Ukraine, where he will perform next Thursday (10).
