Why 书法 can become a kind of art?There are mainly three elements，which
are Chinese Characters, writing brush and the Chinese art paper.
Chinese Characters are picturesque,and every Character is composed by many different parts,which coud offer the artists   unlimited   visual variation. So firstly,书法 is a kind of graphic arts.Since 书法 is an art of line,by the opion of aesthetics,书法 is abstract,only the person who receive fine art education and own artistic ability can enjoy it.
The material, writing brush and the Chinese art paper,which enable
the line of the Characters   could appear in more variaty of   shape\color\strenth,all increased the expression capacity of "书法"。

因为艺术需要汉字的表达.作为图形文字,中国汉字的数量已经包罗万象.将线条的美表达到了极致.经过长期的演化,形成了,楷,行,隶,篆,草基本书体.构筑了中国人独有的精神面貌和体系.在宇宙中,中国人的文化,也许来自于外星高级生命,它神秘而有实用.太不可思议了.中国文字,在未来必定有新的用途和科学的解释.我们有责任和义务,传承,发言,延续.这种文字的艺术地位.

We can say "书法" is a special form of painting.Picasso once said,if he
was born in China,he would rather become an artist of "书法" .However,
the beauty of "书法" is abstract which is different from the paintings.So many painters cannot be a good artist of "书法" since the painters are all customed to   imagery thinking.That is to say,“书法”need both imagery thinking and abstract thinking.
"书法" is not only a parallel form of painting,but is a parallel form of dancing of the writer's hand because the rhythm is important.Without the rhythm,the writer could not express his feeling and personality.If we say the painting\architecture\sculpture are all art of "space",and the music\dancing\**** are all art of
time,"书法"is both an art of space and time.


我理解的书法应该是：以汉字为书写目标，以毛笔（硬笔）为书写工具的，能够为观赏者带来享受的线条造型艺术就叫书法。书法的根源在传统，基础在民间，展示在大众，传承的责任应该在教育少年一代逐渐认识书法，真正和中国历史接轨。
