Hello everyone, Rem here with this week's Progress Report!
Don't worry, much shorter post this week compared to last week's! First up, the Progress Report for Karryn's Prison! Sachinama has finished the general art work for the first CG except the facial variations, and is now working on the outlines for the second CG!
As for me, last week and this week's theme is going to be medical/health related stuff! It's that time around the year for my yearly cancer screening and checkup, and I did my blood test and ultrasound last week so I should be hearing my results back this week. Hopefully like last year and the years before, I'm still cancer-free.
Also, I'm currently thinking about trying out a type of laser eye surgery called LASIK. As it happened, there was a casual conversation last week where I brought up my declining eye sight that I've talked about in a previous post here about how my eyes have gotten worse by 100 since my last pair of glasses, and the topic turned to talking about laser eye surgery and how I should get it especially since I won't be able to get laser eye surgery once my eye sight gets really, really bad. So I've been researching that stuff last week and specifically for the LASIK type laser eye surgery, the surgery itself is pretty quick, and the post surgery recovery is also about a week compared to the six months it used to take for the old types of laser eye surgery.
So yeah, I think I want to get the surgery done while I'm still potentially eligible. So first I'm gonna be visiting some clinics for consultations and tests to see if I'm eligible because apparently, your eye specs need to be stable for a period of time first before doing the surgery? So there's a chance I might need to get my eyes examined again, and then again in a month or something to see if I can get surgery done.
