这是用while引导时间状语从句，则表示主句动作发生在从句动作开始之后，从句动作比主句动作进行时间更长。

所以要求从句动作用延续性动词，并常用进行时态，除非从句表述的是一种持续的状态。

while从句可以置前，也可以置后。

e.g. Srike while the iron is hot.趁热打铁。

e.g. Tazieff was able to set up his camp very close to the volcano while it was erupting violently.(L67)当火山正在猛烈喷发时，塔捷耶夫成功地在离他非常近的地方扎营。

用while引导的时间状语从句也可以表示主句动作和从句动作同时发生，这时一般主句和从句都用进行时态，且从句置后。
