Arsenal are plotting a £5m move for Shaun Wright-Phillips, according to reports in Monday's papers.
The Manchester City winger was linked with the Gunners back in 2005 but ended up moving to Chelsea in an £18m deal.
In 2008 he returned to Eastlands but he has found himself out of favour since Roberto Mancini took over the club, and is now thought to be eyeing a move away from Manchester.
Arsenal have emerged as possible suitors, with Arsene Wenger thought to be considering a cut-price £5m deal for the winger, as he prepares for a title assault next season.
