本次小巡演在09年的6月便结束了，原因居然是因为”be with a former boyfriend.“而ADELE本人在杂志Nylon中回应道""'I can't believe I did that.' It seems so ungrateful.... I was drinking far too much and that was kind of the basis of my relationship with this boy. I couldn't bear to be without him, so I was like, 'Well, I'll just cancel my stuff then.'"

Adele闯美最关键的一个点就是2008年10月18日的Saturday Night Live.该集以 1700 万的观众为该节目赢得了 14 年来的最高收视率。Adele表演了“Chasing Pavements”和“ Cold Shoulder ”，第二天，19 名在 iTunes 排行榜上名列前茅，并在 Amazon.com 上排名第五，而“Chasing Pavements”则升至前 25 名，专辑上升至peak11，比前一周跃升 35 位。
