Here are my thoughts and plans for the most voted options:
1. I'd prefer new regular levels [3235]
Clearly the winner of the poll has mostly been chosen by players who have already completed the story line and now try to make some progress in Endless mode / finish regular research / compete on the leader boards. I believe there are enough levels to play on and my poor imagination won't be able to create more of the interesting levels without introducing new features or scripting. Quality over quantity, I think it would be best to make the existing levels more interesting, so my plan is to add some kind of random modifier for game rules / add great rewards for playing on random levels (see option 8 of the poll) / add ability to use scripted mechanics from the levels of stage 6 on any other maps / add some kind of limited leader boards for Endless mode, encouraging players to play different levels. Also one of the most obvious way to make all of the levels more interesting is to balance their item yield - I know you need that bit dust, you have to make endless research and, most probably, you are already sick of farming 6.3, that's why item farming on this level will be slightly nerfed in 1.8.5 but "Bit dust drop rate" research will become much less useless. Most probably, if you are at the early / mid stage of Endless mode it will become easier for you to progress, but if you are that guy who manages to get 2+ billion score on 6.3 I'm afraid your bit dust yield will not be as great as before. I've decided to trade unhealthy amount of loot on 6.3 for a reason to play on the other levels (I'm also farming for Endless now, and this level really annoys me), and looking forward to implement some / all of the ideas I've mentioned before. Please discuss this change in #game-talk and let me know what do you prefer - getting update 1.8.5 sooner but only with nerfed 6.3 & buffed bit dust drop rate on all of the levels or wait a bit longer for an update which will also (hopefully) make playing on other levels more interesting (and profitable). Remember: I can't buff Bit dust drop rate and leave 6.3's farming rate at the same time, it will be much harder to balance levels properly in the future. I'll do my best to keep bit dust yield at the same level or higher on 6.3 but, ironically, I'm not that skilled to survive 15 overloads on 900% difficulty, that's why our numbers may be different.
2. Resetting quests for Prestige is too repetitive, completing that many quests feels too grindy [2286]
Quest resets requirement for Prestige research will be reduced in 1.8.5 (3 -> 2 resets) but "Sell maps for prestige" will now require maps worth of 50+ tickets. I'll try to give some kind of compensation for everyone who has already reset their quests 3+ times. Also, "Bit dust drop rate" buff of 1.8.5 should also increase Bit dust rewards for quests on endless mode, making them more needed / important.
3. Prestige Tickets farming is too slow [2150]
Update 1.8.5 will make it possible to farm prestige tickets x2.45 faster than before, but remember that prestige is a late end-game stage - it won't be cheap. Also, resetting quests will give up to 2450 tickets for 100%
4. Towers are poorly balanced - some towers are useless while others are clearly overpowered [2116]
According to statistics, top leader board runs use 8 / 16 tower types quite frequently so it is not critical right now. For a much better balance, some towers have to be nerfed (looking at you, Flamethrower), which means we need to wait for Season 3.
5. Give me more of a different daily quest maps / random modes for the existing maps [1856]
I really want that too but usually have no time to come up with great map designs. Also I don't feel like the game is polished enough for more of that content, but the day will come and more maps will be added
