The Real Reason Reese Witherspoon Dumped Jake Gyllenhaal!
Reese JUST broke up with Jake and now she’s dating Hollywood agent Jim Toth! When Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal split right before the holidays, everyone was speculating about what happened. But now we know! Reese and an agent from talent agency CAA were spotted having a very cozy dinner together in Santa Monica on Thursday, according to People.
Reese and CAA agent Jim Toth went to the romantic Italian restaurant Locanda Portofino last Thursday and ”were very flirtatious throughout dinner. They were having a lot of fun, totally getting along and laughing and talking the whole dinner. Reese seemed very happy. She was smiling all dinner. The mood was upbeat and really good.”
But Reese just split with Jake in December, and it’s barely February yet … so it seems like Jim was probably waiting in the wings! The magazine reports that the two hugged each other goodbye after dinner and kissed on the cheek – “but it was a very friendly goodbye.”

Is Jake Gyllenhaal Moving On With A New Woman?
How long does it take you to get over an ex? Jake Gyllenhaal seems to be taking his time getting over Reese Witherspoon, but who could blame him? The two were dating for two years, after all. But now it seems Jake may finally be back in the dating pool: eyewitnesses spotted the 29-year-old actor out with a new girl on March 6.
“Jake was hanging out with this mystery girl all night,” one partygoer at the UNICEF/Weinstein pre-Oscar bash at Soho House in Beverly Hills tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She was sort of a Plain Jane, didn’t look like Reese at all. The only similarity is that they were both blond and short!”
Adds the insider, “They were together all night, but they weren’t holding hands or kissing or anything like that. There were no romantic overtones, but they did seem to be very close, sitting close and chatting intimately.”
Well, we say it’s about time! After splitting in November of 2009 after nearly two years together, Reese has already been stepping out on the town with Hollywood agent Jim Toth, while Jake seems to be moving on at a slower pace.

Ahh! Reese: You Go Public With Your New Romance on Your Birthday Weekend- Sweet!
Today is Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon’s 34th birthday — but unlike Reese’s ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, who spent his December birthday alone after the star broke up with him, Reese had a birthday date over the weekend!
Saturday, Mar. 20, Reese Witherspoon and her agent/boyfriend Jim Toth were spotting holding hands and taking a romantic stroll in Ojai, CA.
After a nasty divorce from Ryan Phillippe, and her split from Jake, we hope Reese finally finds happiness. After all, it is her birthday!
