Hello Pilots. As we come closer to the next update release, Ilya Muromets has received some major changes in design. Its new name is Atlas, which we believe was more fitting for the titan in its design. Additionally, you may notice that the arms are "bending" in the photo shown. Some features of the titan will allow for unique types of playstyle when compared to some of the other titans equipped with static hardpoints. Additionally, there are also new side weapons that come equipped on Atlas, which are experimental medium auto-cannons. They will be released along with the titan.
Here are some things to take note of about the upcoming heavy titan:
•In battle, Atlas can raise its guns almost to the height of its laser.
•Atlas will be able to shoot over obstacles, and aim at higher or lower degrees (roughly 90 degrees in both directions.) Generally, it will be able to aim in a more dynamic way, allowing for quicker targeting.
•Some aspects like armor, being damaged, and other things can potentially impact the degrees that the joints can bend.
Not everything stated here is final, and with more yet to be revealed, but this is a simplified explanation of what titan Atlas can do. We are currently preparing a video to showcase more closely what the titan is capable of. We hope you look forward to its demonstration!
