Pixelpeeper v1.2 for win
PixelPeeper is a small utility designed for a single purpose: to visually estimate sharpness on large amounts of images. The program displays enlarged regions of each image.
The user can quickly select and move images that are not up to quality.
It was developed as in in-house tool at Textures.com, for our work with Agisoft Photoscan.

Requirements
Windows 7 64-bit or higher. More than 4GB memory recommended.
How to use
Click "Browse" to open the folder dialog and select the folder which contains the images you want to inspect. You can also drag a folder from Explorer onto the program.
Pixelpeeper support several file formats in both 8-bit and 16-bit:
JPEG
TIFF
PNG
PSD (only files saved with 'compatibility mode').
BMP, TGA, GIF
Use PageUp and PageDown to scroll through the images, and use your mouse to select images by clicking on them. When you are done, click on the 'Move Selected' button and Pixelpeeper will move the images to a subfolder.
You can enter a name for the new subfolder, or use an relative or absolute path to move the images to an existing folder.
View Modes
There are 3 different view modes available:
Center Crop

Center + Corners

Full Thumbnail

Fit Window

Displays a crop of the center of the image.
Displays a center crop, as well as crops from the 4 corners of the image.
The location of the corner crops can be controlled using the percentage setting:
0% - absolute corner 90% - near the center
Displays a thumbnail of the whole image. Good for common sorting tasks.
Fits the smallest side of the image into the thumbnail.
Note: for wide or tall images, some parts might not be displayed.
Other Options

Columns: pick between a 1, 2, 3 and 4 column layout.

Zoom level: pick between 1x zoom (100% ) and 4x zoom (400%)

More -> Move Sidecar files also

When "Move sidecar files also" is enabled, any file with the same filename (but different extension) will also be moved. This is useful when you want to do a pre-selection on RAW files:
make a quick conversion to PSD
select unsharp images using the PSD files
move the blurry PSDs and their RAW files in one click.
remove PSDs, do your final RAW conversion.
Reposition crop
Sometimes the crop shows a part of the image without features, making it hard to judge the sharpness. In that case, right-click on the thumbnail to reposition the crop slightly to the right.
Legal
Use of Pixelpeeper is entirely at your own risk. The program is offered without warranty.
