KFC To Release Gaming Console That Heats Chicken
Fast-food company KFC plans to release a gaming console（游戏主机） that keeps chicken hot while it's being used. Called the KFConsole, it's been designed in partnership with Cooler Master, a computer hardware company.
The console is shaped like a KFC bucket and includes a "chicken chamber（房间）" which the company says is the world's first chamber built into a console that can keep food hot.
Cooler Master says the heat created by the system is redirected（重新引导） to the chicken chamber.The campaign for the console began in June 2020 when the first images of it were released. KFC provided more details about its capabilities（能力）later that year, saying via a Twitter video that "the console wars are over." However, the release date and price of the product have not yet been confirmed.
Cooler Master said the machine can run the latest games at 4K resolution（分辨率） at 240 frames（帧数） per second, which is a higher specification（技术参数） than other new consoles have advertised. For example, the latest Xbox and PlayStation only offer 4K at 120 frames per second. The KFConsole can also be used for playing virtual reality（VR，虚拟现实） games.
Another unique feature（特点） of the KFConsole is that users can upgrade its graphics card（显卡）, one of the most important parts on a gaming console or computer. Cooler Master says this will make sure the KFConsole remains powerful for "generations to come."
This is not the first time KFC has created a product aimed at the gaming industry. In 2019, the company released a computer game called I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator. The company has also held competitions that offered computer related prizes, such as a keyboard with models of fried chicken pieces on each key.
