发育周期：卵到幼虫8-14天，幼虫到茧子10-23天，茧到工蚁14-21天。发育速度与温度有很大关系，温度越高发育越快。建议在新后时期保持较为稳定的温度、湿度，食物一次不要喂太多，这种蚂蚁性格比较节俭，会把昆虫尸体拖回试管，很难清理，一旦时间久了就变质发霉，污染卵幼，翻车的案例数不胜数。

对了，补充一下。纵斑弓背蚁群落上限3000左右，目前人工养殖没有达到上限的种群，还未出现上图中的超级大工，所以究竟会不会有那么大的工蚁，拭目以待。
