A November poem
(Cozy November surprise from the demure Athens white rose Nana Mouskouri)
Her voice is the benevolence from the providence
the beloved voice, so tenderly telling a timeless love story —
I see autumn leaves falling, but shining with glory
I hear the spring creek streaming, and wild daises’ flurry
I touch the star that scattering, with the relentless earthly worry
But why worry, there should be sunshine after rain —
I put time in a bottle, with my last and sweet surrender to this misery
Maybe someday someone in Napoli
Or someplace by the Aegean Sea
Scarlet rose, emerald tree
Thy auburn hair, thy ivory skin
And our Serenade by Toselli —
Why worry —
