Rounding off a month that has seen him soar to victory on TV’s biggest talent show and hit the top spot on the charts, Joe McElderry adds another first to his list when he takes to the stage at the O2 for the 15th anniversary National Television Awards.
The show will be broadcast live on ITV1 on Wednesday 20th January from 7.30pm.
Joe, who captured the public’s hearts during last year’s X Factor, will be performing a brand new track! This comes weeks after securing a number one with debut single The Climb.
Joe’s biggest performance yet, at the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena, will be amongst friends, as fellow X Factor finalists and twin sensations John and Edward will also be performing in what promises to be an entertainment spectacular. The star studded audience on the evening will be filled with the best known faces in British television.
Both Joe and John and Edward could be on course for celebration, with X Factor in the running to take home the coveted Most Popular Talent Show award. They face competition from rivals Strictly Come Dancing, Britain’s Got Talent and Dancing on Ice.
Bigger than ever before, the National Television Awards celebrates its 15th anniversary with a move to the O2 Arena and a new host, Dermot O’Leary, who takes the reigns from Sir Trevor McDonald.
