Dear Amanda:
As leaves are changing into red colors, a new semester falls on.
We have separated 1 year already, and I really miss you. Immersing myself in countless homework, there is truly no time for me to meet you. I feel sorry, and I hope you will forgive me.I wrote several letters during the special epidemic period, but I can't give you soon .
Being told that you got excellent grade in the exam and went to a high-class senior high school,I sincerely congratulate you!And I hope you can make more friends, get better grades and improve yourself constantly. Also, our friendship is going to keep forever . During that year, I took part in quite a few competitions and got a better understanding of teamwork. From writing poems to have a speech in class, from clubs to teams,I have made a difference.
Have a good time!
Your best friend,
ZXY
Dear ZXY,
I’m really happy to hear from you. It seems that connections between our old acquaintances are becoming less. I haven’t heard from many for a long time.
Like what you said, I did achieve my dream to enter Tsinghua university high school. I worked hard in the break before school’s opening and passed the examination of entering the experimental class B. Although it’s not the best class, I still feel the hardship of surviving in the class. My classmates are so talented and gifted. It puts a lot of pressure on me and stimulates me to strive. My time are fully occupied and I can only reply your letter late at night. I sincerely apologize for that.
I know you are now studying with a lot of our old acquaintances and you have an excellent grade. Besides, you said that you took part in many competitions and is more outgoing now. I’m so proud of you! I also realized that you updated many poems and great works in your blog. They were all fascinating and reminded me of our good old days.
So much for today, it’s late and I have to go for a shower then snooze in my warm bed. Hope we will all have a bright future and bring my best wishes to our old friends.
Looking forward to your next letter.
Love from your BFF,
Amanda
