Kai Yu was born in 1976. He entered department of Automation in Tsinghua University in 1994. After obtained his Bachelor Degree in 1999, he continued his study and research in image processing in the State Key Lab of Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems in department of Automation until he got Master degree in 2002. From September of 2002, he joined the Machine Intelligence Lab in Engineering Department of Cambridge University as a Ph.D. candidate. He is now working in adaptive training of large vocabulary continuous speech recognition and has a wide interest in pattern recognition and signal processing.
