Miss World Contestants arrive in London And head straight for the BBC studios… Miss World Ksenia Sukhinova at the studio The weekend has been very busy here in London as the Miss World contestants travelled in from around the world and come together for the first time. The month long Miss World festival began with a trip to the BBC studios to appear on Friday night’s The One Show, live on BBC 1. As the contestants were just getting to know each other, they were whisked off to BBC television’s White City studios on Friday evening. After a short trip across London, around fifty representatives stepped off the coach, all excited about their first UK TV experience. “I can’t believe we were appearing on the BBC, it is a very famous station shown in so many countries around the world” said Kenya. “It was fabulous we were; we were treated like stars on the red carpet!” said Wales. For the next few days the contestants will be rehearsing and taking in London’s sights and shopping. Before jetting off to the next destination on the Miss World festival tour.
