那一天 That day,
闭目在经殿香雾中 Meditating amidst the incense in the temple,
蓦然听见   Suddenly I heard
你颂经的真言   Your extolling the Holy Dharma.那一月   That month,
我摇动所有的转经筒   I turned all script holders
不为超度 Not to become a superior priest,
只为触摸你的指尖   But just to touch where your fingers had been.
那一年   That year,
磕长头匍匐在山麓   I prayed and crawled along the mountains,
不为觐见   Not for an audience,
只为贴着你的温暖   But just to get close to your warmth.
那一世 All through my life,
转山转水转佛塔啊   I plodded mountains and waters to visit Buddhist temples,
不为修来生   Not preparing for my next life,
只为途中与你相见   But just hoping to meet you in my span
