1.帝国统一不符合梭默的利益。
因为帝国一但统一，无论是图留斯主导还是老乌主导都会跟梭默对立。因为没有人会任由外族摆布。
2.风暴打不过帝国。
从某些剧情和对话可以看出，特别是图留斯的话。这也是梭默给风暴输血的原因，梭默不希望风暴倒下。
3.黑荆棘是天际的罪人。天际唯一一个跟梭默同流合污的家族。利用血蹄家族，向风暴输血。

虽然不站队但我还是挺佩服老乌这个枭雄的 而且他死后还能去英灵殿

以老乌年轻时候的智商想不被梭墨利用不太现实，不过这个人的确站在诺德立场上的。
