world championships
Wow, what a week! I really enjoyed my time here in Rome for world championships. The fans were great, the atmosphere was great, lots of excitement for the sport and something that was really cool to be a part of. To think back to 2000 when I first started competing internationally and where the sport was then compared to where it is today, I think we’ve come a long way. It was great to have coverage of worlds on TV and online (thanks to NBC and Universal Sports) a first for swimming in the U.S. I am excited for what lies ahead for swimming and I hope you guys are too. Thanks again for all the support, I appreciate it! Off to dinner w/ the team.
