Meanwhile, Super Typhoon (TY) WUTIP (02W) has yet again been downgraded into a Typhoon for the second time as it moves very slowly, northward @ 05-07 kph during the past 06 hours, carrying 1-min. sustained winds of 220 km/hr. The latest Global Typhoon Numerical Models continues to show, a slow, northwest to west-northwestward track towards the eastern part of the Philippine Sea for the next 3 to 4 days, and could enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Thursday, February 28. However, since WUTIP will be encountering unfavorable conditions along its path, a rapid weakening/decaying phase of the typhoon is likely, therefore, the threat to the Philippine Islands remains low to none.
