I have been waiting for a long time to finally share my new album #HeadAboveWater with all of you. My heart is so full and complete right now knowing you will hear it all next week. It was very important for me to tell the raw and honest stories of what I’ve been going through since sharing my life with you last. It was very healing for me when I was writing and recording these songs which was very freeing to me and I hope you embrace them. Love you guys and thanks again for your continuous support!!!!

This was written from a place of not allowing something to hold you back from your full potential. It’s about breaking free and loving yourself enough to allow yourself to fly.
Finding the confidence and strength to escape and grow.
这首歌的主旨是别让任何事情阻碍你释放全部潜能。你要挣脱牢笼，足够自爱从而让自己可以飞翔。找到自信和力量，来帮助你逃脱和成长。

Sometimes your heart conflicts with your head and leads you into situations that you know aren’t right and then once you’re there, it’s very difficult to get out. I also produced this song with @CBaseford.
有时候你的情感和理智相互矛盾，结果导致你陷入困境，而当你一旦陷进去就很难出来了。这首歌与Chris Baseford合作创作。
Sometimes your heart conflicts with your head and leads you into situations that you know aren’t right and then once you’re there, it’s very difficult to get out. I also produced this song with @CBaseford.
有时候你的情感和理智相互矛盾，结果导致你陷入困境，而当你一旦陷进去就很难出来了。这首歌与Chris Baseford合作创作。
4. Tell me it's over 说我们结束了
I loved being able to write a song with my best friend @RyanCabrera. We had such an amazing time! Tell Me It’s Over is an anthem about being strong and finally putting your foot down and closing the door on a relationship that you know is wrong after time and time again of falling for their games. If someone doesn’t treat you the way you deserve to be treated, don’t put up with it.
It’s understandably so hard because in the past every time you saw them, they sucked you in and you fell right back into their web. The vocals and the lyrics are very vulnerable which is reflective of the feelings I got in relationships like these. I wanted to write something classic. I have been inspired by some of the timeless queens I listen to everyday at home,Billie Holiday,Ella Fitzgerald,Aretha FranklinandEtta James.They represent women who stand up for women and aren’t going to put up with a man’s bullshit anymore!!
我很享受和我的好朋友Ryan Cabrera一起写歌，多么好的一段时光啊。这首歌是关于勇敢地下决心结束一段错误的感情，不再一次又一次上当他们的把戏。如果他们对你不够好，就不要容忍下去了。这一点确实很难做到，因为以前每次你见到他们，他们就会直接把你拉回到他们的陷阱中。这首歌曲和歌词都很脆弱，这也反映出来我在这种场合下的情感。我还想写得怀旧一点。我在家听一些旧时代的女歌星并找到灵感，比如Billie Holiday,Ella Fitzgerald,Aretha Franklin和Etta James。她们代表着愿意为女人站出来的女人们，不在忍受男人们的把戏！
