So in light of Pixonics recent statement that they will be adjusting workshop 2.0, I find a lot of humor in the events leading up to this. Pixonic promised- for months and months that they would make new gear more easily obtainable by the player base. They did this with the initial release of workshop 2.0. Once all of the noobs started getting a taste of the ease of access to this new gear, players were happy that they could at least get their hands on it sooner, despite the insanely long and expensive upgrade times. Now we have all these noobs running new gear at low levels, and it was more than obvious that they weren't really able to compete with level 6 and 7 gear against the liking of a spectre orkan that was already mk2 level 12.
So what did the noobs do, well enough of them cried and complained to Pixonic and ultimately gave Pixonic this awesome idea.. What if they nerfed all of the weapons and bots that were available prior to the economy changes and many players were able to easily obtain and level up in moderate time, and made that gear less significant while boosting the stats of newly released gear after the economy changes. What a great plan, to make all of those spectre, haechi, bulgasauri, orkans, tarans, shocktrains, less appealing to use. In doing so they thought, well we will just force players to purchase the newer bots and weapons, and then spend tons of money to get them up to mk2 level 12.
Well the greed did not stop there, my noobtastic friends. The spectre, haechi, bulgasauri, orkans, tarans, shocktrains still proved to topple the competition. Sure, it sucks losing 3 seconds of stealth and some speed on spectre, it sucks losing the speed and power of orkans, but the truly skilled players were able to continue dominating with these bots and weapons, and the noobs still only had their level 6 or 7 new gear and still got crushed. What I believe happened next is no coincidence.
So now that the nerfs were in effect, and players were still domi
