Last weekend's earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3, which rocked Eastern and Central Romania, raises once again the question if local authorities are ready to face the damage and casualties following a possible future stronger earthquake.
ADEVARUL
Moldova has refused to recognise Romania's designated new Ambassador, after it expelled the previous one, following tensions between the two neighbors. Romania will shortly announce the measures it will take following the move made by Moldovan authorities.
FINANCIARUL
The economic crisis has led to an increase in the demand for employment in all categories of jobs, whereas the offer for jobs will have declined by 60 per cent in 2009, compared to the previous year, according to official data.
