I tried to stay true to Constantine from the comics in that he uses trickery and wits to gain the advantage over his opponents. Based on that, I thought that evasion-based mechanics would be fun and appropriate. He's also notorious for getting his friends and allies killed, which is why his leader ability is pretty terrible for the rest of his team, but allows him to survive and keep fighting the good fight until he's the last man standing.
