Crescent moon was the song he had sang to you, and honestly, it was well done. You happily applaud as you cheered for the voice display of the machine, quite glad that it can at least sing a song. Its voice output in a couple sections of the song wasn’t exactly 100% perfect, due to the jacked up graphics card, but you thought it was great anyway.

… Silence… The VOCA‐droid had displayed a series of expressions, as if having difficulty in processing something. You couldn’t help but be concerned.
“…Logical error… Such commands are incomprehensible to me” It robotically voiced out to you, letting you know that it cannot do that. What you didn’t fully understand was that the first establishment of a person being a VOCA‐droid’s master was an unbreakable bond. In other words, it was a sort of ‘intimate’ encryption to them.
Right now, Kaito only recognizes you as its master and no one else’s. In fact, it wants you to be its master; therefore, it refuses to not see you as its only owner. You have already shown it so much warmth.

The poor thing questioned, being able to recognize emotions, based on the sequence of expressions on a human’s face, and right now, you didn’t exactly seem so happy. Was it that you were now displeased because of him? Had it done something to upset you?
You began to close the manual, soon taking note of the time before face palming yourself. You’re going to be late for work!
Kaito was the least of your problem now, since you can probably have him completely reprogrammed or something‐ that was your plan, not knowing that Kaito had been reprogrammed so many times it had messed up his hard drive, and if it should happen again… It would have no effect on the Vocaloid.
“Masuta？你在干什么？”

“Ok now Kaito, back into the box” you said, the machine doing as told as it had backed up into the human sized casing that was like a packaging barrier for the automaton.
“I … am Happy” It suddenly voiced, sort of leaving you confused. “Happy for what?” you casually asked, ignoring the title ‘master’ and furrowing your left brow.
“I am happy that among all the other vocaloids, you chose me and me alone…” You thought it was just being courteous, sort of shaking your head at the machine. Might as well shut it down now.
“Kaito, I’d like for you to engage a shutting down sequence. Can you do that?” You sighed, as if sort of sassing along with it.
“Ok Kaito，现在回去这个箱子。” 你说道，那个机械人遵照你的指令走进一个人大小的外壳，包装形成了一层屏障。
“我……很高兴，Masuta。” 它突然说话，让你有点困惑。“你高兴什么？”你随便问道，忽视 “Master” 的称呼，皱了左眉一下。
“我很高兴，因为在这么多 Vocaloid 之中，你唯独选择了我……” 你以为它只是出于礼貌，对它摇了摇头。现在最好是先将它关闭。
“Kaito，我要你进入关闭状态，可以吗？” 你叹了口气，好像对它很无礼似的。

Kaito, possessing a computerized nature, had obeyed none the less, resting in the package in which he once came, now getting ready to follow your orders and have itself shut down.
“Hai! As requested…” it said, as if about to fall asleep or what not, but no. It wasn’t done yet.
“…Masuta?” It called out again, gaining your attention, to which you looked back at it, not exactly prepared for what it was about to say.
"I'm happy to be yours and yours alone. You will always and forever be my masuta. " You simply starred at it, trying to ignore it none-the-less, only thinking his robotic non sense, but for a split second, the automation itself had once again locked gaze with you... a rather serious one.
Kaito 具有电脑化的性质，一点都没有减少服从的程度，在和它一起来的箱子内休息，准备遵从你的指令关机。
“嗨！如你要求……” 它说道，就像快要陷入沉睡的样子，但它还没有。
“…… Masuta？” 它又说话了，吸引到你的注意，转头朝向它，没有预备它会说什么。
“我很高兴成为你的唯一。你永远都是我的 Masuta。”
你只是盯着它，试图忽略它的话，认为这只是他机械人的胡扯，下一秒却发现他又盯着你了……异常认真的眼神。

You overlooked all that he has said to you and had left the spot to get ready for work, but it was sad that you didn't know how those words are.
The vocaloid had deemed you as its one and only, permanent owner as it was tired of being tossed from one owner to the next. This Kaito now belonged to you, whether you may accept it or not..... just as much as how it felt that you belonged to it too...
Even if it means doing just about anything to call you Master....

…. Oh no… Just when you thought you had gotten that thing out of your hair. To be honest, you had an idea of what was probably going on with the vocaloid, but you had instead ignored such a thought, thinking that it may be in need of repairs or something.
“Yeah, it was acting strange too, but I’ll tell you about that later on. For now, I wouldn’t mind if you can probably come have a look‐see? Please”
You couldn’t say no to her, after all, you were the one that bought that thing, and now it’s not working anymore! Certainly, you began to fear for your money‐ hell no you did not just waste a couple thousand on otaku junk! If only you weren’t so stubborn! Hell no refund, no return policy‐ can’t exchange! Great!
……呃不是吧……你还以为摆脱了那个麻烦的东西。其实你大概知道那个 Vocaloid 发生什么事，但你选择无视这个想法，反而认为它需要一些修复。

你无法拒绝她，毕竟将那个东西买回来的是你，现下它又不能操作了！自然而然，你开始害怕你的钱——特么花了几千块在那样的 Otaku 垃圾！如果你之前不是那么固执的话！天呀，不能退款，不能退货！太棒了！

You weren’t even sure if you should spend any more money on trying to repair it, in fear that it may still not work. This was most likely what the dealer was talking about…
…Though in reality, that was only one part of the Machine’s defectiveness.
“Oh crap... Ok, I’m coming over to have a look at it alright. Probably it needs to be reprogrammed and whatever, I don’t know. Just don’t touch anything ok?”
“Touch anything? Even in this state, I doubt that Kaito model wants me anywhere near it! I can tell. I guess this is how it feels to be rejected by your fictional‐anime crush”

You fought with yourself to get out of the cushion before frustratingly pulling yourself up, soon looking up to disappointingly eye the sleeping Vocaloid, just standing and charging there by the wall, looking all useless and creepy. The accent on its cloths and its blue nails didn’t glow as they should when it was to be plugged in, then it simply means that this Kaito was a goner.
Rolling your eyes for the fifth time this evening, you took a step back to turn around and so you could head out of your room, absolutely giving up on the machine. You were so caught up in disappointment that you didn’t even realize that the vocaloid was actually activating itself!
你沮丧地离开坐垫站起来，满眼失望地看向正在沉睡的 Vocaloid，就站在墙壁那里充电，单是看着都觉得无用却又令人毛骨悚然。它的布料和蓝指甲并没有因充电而发光，这意味着这个Kaito 已经完蛋了。

“Jesus! Kaito! I thought you were malfunctioning or something”
You were so confused and frightened, your heart had skipped a beat and the only thing you could do was to compress your left hand unto your chest, trying to regulate your breathing rate. You swore that thing is going to be the death of you…
Oh you didn’t know how right you were.
Anyhow, Kaito had noticed how disheveled you appeared, and it was a part of its robotic nature to be concerned with its user.
“You do not appear well, masuta. Is there a possibility you are ill?” It questioned, slightly leaning its head out of curiosity, and this is where you became annoyed.
“天呀，Kaito！我以为你已经坏掉还是怎么了。”
此时的你是这么的困惑与害怕，你的心跳错漏一拍然后你可以做的便是将左手按上你的胸口，试图调整你的呼吸。你发誓那个东西总有一天会吓死你的。
噢，你是不知道自己有多正确。
无论如何，出于机械人关心主人的本能，Kaito 已经发现你混乱的状态。
“你看起来很不好，Masuta。 是不是生病了？” 它问道，稍微倾斜头部表示好奇，就是这点让你感到烦恼。

“Kaito? Please shut down, I’m getting tired”
Nothing‐ it did nothing but stood there. You were beginning to wonder if there was a bug in its system or something, but to your obliviousness, the android had simply decided not to follow commands this time.
So many things were going through its circuit, and the very fact that it was about to be rejected by another of its owner was a little too overwhelming for poor Kaito. What was doing to be hated this much? It tried to please all of its owners, but still, it was hated…No… It refused another rejection.
“Kaito？请你进入关机程序，我很累了。”
没有用，它什么都没做，还是站在那里。你开始怀疑是不是它的系统有 bug，但你不知道的是，现在这个机械人决定不遵照你的指令。
很多信息闪过它电脑内的线路，对于将会被这个用户拒绝的事实对可怜的 Kaito 来说，有些承受不住。到底做了什么才会被人这样憎恨？它已经尝试取悦所有的主人，但还是……被人憎恨……


不……它不愿再被拒绝了。

Why was it that users are happy with other vocaloid automated but him?
“Kaito! Shut down‐ engage in deactivation sequence‐ hibernate! Something! Right now!” You were out of breath since your heart was speeding up, trying to get it stop, but instead of obeying your commands, Kaito simply made a turn blocked your room door, this way, you won’t leave.
The poor thing demands an answer from its owner and it is determined to stay with you, desperate to be accepted. It fears rejection so much that it had basically developed a thinking pattern of its own due to previous experiences. Like every other vocaloid automaton, it desires love from its master, but this Kaito craved it…
为什么这些用户都喜欢别的 Vocaloid，而不是他？
“Kaito！进入关机序列——冬眠！什么都好！现在！”你的心跳异常加速，导致你差点断气，尝试阻止它但它根本不服从你的指令，Kaito 转身就挡住了房门，这样你就不会离开了。
这可怜的东西需要的是主人的一个答案，决心要和你在一起，疯狂的想要被接受。它害怕被拒绝，以至于它根据以往的经历，开发了自己的思维模式。其他的 Vocaloid 希望得到主人的爱，但这个 Kaito 对此是非常饥渴的……

“Incomprehensible. Why am I not desired? I vow not to fail you, masuta. Please accept me” It begged, displaying an array of expressions that were all so confusing. You didn’t know whether you should be sorry for it or plain terrified! It’s basically trapping you in your own room!
“Kaito! Get out of the way, right now!” Of course, the android had ignored your voice input. The next thing it did had taken begging to another level, making it hard to distinguish whether he was really just a robot or a human!
“Kaito!”
Unlike other voca‐droids, Kaito had persisted instead of following orders, immediately placing its right hand across it’s chest, heading down on one knee and bowing down to you‐ doing some black butler sh*t!
“无法理解。为什么我不被渴望？我发誓不会让你失望的，Masuta。请你——接受我。”
它苦苦哀求着，呈现一连串表达非常困惑的表情。你甚至不清楚应该同情它还是恐惧！基本上它已经把你困在你自己的房间！
“Kaito！现在给我让开！”
当然，这个安卓已经忽视你的语音指令。下一步它做的便是将哀求提升到另一个层次，很难区分出它是机械还是人了！
“Kaito!”
不像其他的 Vocadroids, Kaito 坚持不服从指令，立刻将右手放在胸口，单膝跪地向你鞠躬——特么做了黑执事才会做的事！

“…Please accept me, I have been rejected so many times by previous users‐ I am deemed as unwanted, please do not do the same, masuta. I do not wish to be uninstalled! No other user desires me but you, and I only desire you! I cannot reverse your encryption… I am desperate to be accepted by only you!”
… Silence…
You stood there and observed the robot, shocked to see it display such a behavior. It begged without a trace of shame, and obviously, it won’t leave you alone.
You keep thinking, are the other vocaloids really supposed to be like this? So …devoted to their owners? You’re not even sure if that was the word for this Kaito, so desperate for to approve of him.
“……请你接受我，我已经被之前的用户拒绝太多次了——我已经被确认为不被需要的物件，请你别做出同样的事，Masuta。我不要被 uninstall！除了你没有其他的用户需要我，而我只需要你！我做不到逆转你的编码……我已经走投无路了，只有你可以接受我！”
……一片静默……
你站在那里观察这个机械人，十分震惊于它的行为。它可以毫不知耻的哀求，很明显的是，它不会放你一个人离开。
你不停地思考，其他的 Vocaloids 难道都应该是这样的吗？对主人都这么死心眼？你根本不确定这个Kaito 是不是真的这样，不顾一切地要你批准他的请求。

Again, you can’t return or have a replacement for it, and it basically has nowhere to go… You couldn’t help but pity the poor thing. It’s previous owners must have abused it or something…
Now to face it, you were pretty much stuck with Kaito. AND he’s still appears to be functioning quite well… A little too well… He might be of some use to you after all. That’s when you have come to a complete decision.
“… Hey, Kaito”
“‐Yes, Masuta?”
It immediately responded to you, still bowing before you, and honestly, you found his extreme case of fidelity a little cute, not that he still wasn’t creepy.
“…Masuta? Kaito, please stop calling me that. My name is ﴾y/n﴿, can you remember that?”
再说，你即不能退货也不能将它替换，基本上它也没地方可去……你忍不住同情这可怜的东西。它之前的主人肯定虐待过它……
现在面对 Kaito，你真的不知该如何是好，而它的运作也还好……是有一点太好了……说不定他对你有用处呢，是时候做出决定了。
“……嘿，Kaito。”
“是，Masuta？”
它立刻对你做出反应，依然在你面前躬着身，老实说，你发现他极端忠实地方有点可爱，但并没有消除他的诡异。
“Masuta？ Kaito，请别这样叫我。我的名字是 （你的姓名），你记住了吗？
