“…Masuta, do not be displeased with me. Should I engage in tuning ﴾song﴿ mode? Will you be pleased with me then?”
He queried, and to your displeasure, Kaito was stepping further towards you as if wanting to currently grab all of your attention‐ maybe grab a little more than that?
“…Kaito stop it. I told you to shut down!”
You sort of panicked, watching him place his foot before the other and once again ignoring clear instructions, stepping on dried, concrete evidence of the dog’s violent murder.
Right now, you were just praying that he’s not going to do the same thing to you‐ and if not, there’s no way you’d trust Kaito! It’s a machine that can kill if pleased! You just want him to shut down so you can get him out of your place!
“Masuta，不要生我的气。我应该进入调音（歌曲）模式吗？这样你会喜欢我吗？”
他问道，然后在你不满的情况下Kaito 步向你的面前，仿佛现在就要抓住你全部的关注——或许是想抓住比这个更多的东西？
“…… Kaito 停下。我已经叫你关机！”
你不免恐慌，看着他一步接一步地再次忽视这些明确的指令，踏在暴力谋杀狗的，干涸和确凿的证据上。
现在，你只是祈祷他不要对你做出同样的事——如果不是，那你根本无法信任 Kaito！它是一台想杀就杀的机器！你只是要他关机然后你就可以让他离开你的地方！

“Kaito, please shut down! If you do that, I … ‐ I promise to never ignore you! I, Master promises to listen everyone one of your songs, but first you have to shut down… Listen to master, ok?”
You couldn’t blame yourself, you just wanted him to engage in power off sequence, and honestly, it seemed to have worked, since the android had immediately stopped, as if snapping out of a fixated daze, appearing to be relieved.
“…Comprehensible”
Kaito half smiled, but his eyes still glowed that virtual shade of blue: systematically processing and storing all that you had just said to it, quite pleased by those words. You had confirmatively acknowledged yourself as its owner, and not only had you done that, but you had … code term ‘promised’ to listen to him sing, and surely Kaito will hold you to that.
“Kaito，请你关机！如果你这样做，我……我承诺永远不会忽视你！我，身为 Master 承诺会听你每一首曲子，但是首先你必须关机……听Master 的，OK？”
你不会怪自己，你只是要他进入电源关闭的序列，这点看起来凑效，因为这个安卓立刻停下，似乎摆脱了一种依恋的恍惚，看起来缓解了。
“……理解。”
Kaito 半笑着，但他的双眸依然闪烁着虚拟化的蓝色色调：系统化地处理和储存你跟他说过的话，对此十分满意。你已经坚定的确认自己是他的主人，不止这样，你还……编了“承诺” 听他唱歌一词的代码，Kaito 当然会期望你做到这点了。

“…I look forward to sing to you, masuta”
Said Kaito, the machine’s taller figure towering over yours, causing you to feel slightly intimidated, and very much fearful of him since you now knew nothing of his capabilities.
“Alright, Kaito… But for now, please engage shut down”
… And you waited … and waited… Until finally…
“…Wakarimasu, masuta... Systems are currently closing down… ”
And within seconds, Kaito’s system had gradually closed off to the world revolving around him, his physical component still standing before you, Bently’s vital fluid adhering and subsequently staining the android’s white, long overcoat.
“我期待着给你唱歌，Masuta。”
Kaito 说道，高大的机械身躯矗立在你之上，使你受到轻微的惊吓，非常害怕他因为你对他的能力毫不知情。
“好吧，Kaito……但是现在，请进入关机状态。”
……然后你等……再等……直到最后……
“……Wakarimasu, masuta……系统目前正在关闭……”
然后在几秒内，Kaito 的系统逐渐关闭对周围世界的感知，他的躯体依然站在你的面前，Bently的生命液体黏附并染上这个安卓雪白修长的大衣。

It all turns out that after sending Kaito away and reporting your disapproval, the company you had bought him through was unable to return the machine to the country of its origin because of some mix up in the shipping processes. The simple fact that you it didn’t even have a warrant was enough of a breach of their policy, since they shouldn’t have even accepted your return in the first place.
In the end, the vocaloid was still under your name, and based on the Vocaloid Corporation, vocaloids cannot be taken apart or recycled without the full authority of the organization itself‐ besides, Kaito was an old model now and they didn’t seem to be accepting prototypes: therefore, Kaito had to be returned to its rightful owner. The least they could do in service was to have the old machine reprogrammed for the millionth time, attempting to wipe away old memories, but for Kaito‐ that alone was a consistent problem.
事实证明，在你退回Kaito 然后报告你的不满后，你购买他的公司不能将这个机械人送回他的原产国因为在运输的过程中出了一些错误。你没有保修的事实已经足以违反他们的政策，因为他们不该接受你退货的要求。
结果，这个Vocaloid 还是在你的名下，而依据 VOCALOIDTM 集团（雅马哈），Vocaloids 不能在没有获得该组织的授权下被回收——而且，Kaito现在是旧型号加上他们不打算接受原型品：所以，Kaito 必须归还给他的合法拥有者。他们最多能做的服务便是给这个旧的机械重新编程第一百万次，尝试清除所有旧的记忆，但对于Kaito ——这是他个别一贯的问题。

“…System data has been renewed, all processes are in full operation, masuta”
… You didn’t even look at him when he had said that, mentally beating yourself up since you didn’t want it to recognize you as its owner anymore and here you thought his memory had been wiped!
“…Damn robot” you murmured, taking out your keys and opening the door, thinking of maybe selling Kaito to some crazy vocaloid fan.
On the other hand, Kaito knew exactly what you did; preprogramming Kaito only meant refreshing his software, which didn’t exactly mean ‘erasing his hard drive’‐ oh no no. That doesn’t work anymore, so Kaito still remembers you and he still recognizes you as master, and like he said, he’ll never leave you alone.
“……系统数据已更新，所有进程皆已完全运行，Masuta。”
当他这么说的时候，你甚至不去看他，精神上自责不已因为你不想它再认你为它的主人，而至今你还以为他的记忆已经被抹掉！
“……该死的机械人。”你喃喃自语，拿出你的钥匙开门，想着可能可以将Kaito 卖给一些 Vocaloid 的疯狂粉丝。
而另一边，Kaito 可是知道你做了什么；预编 Kaito 的程序只是刷新他的软件，并不是真的 “擦除他的硬盘”——哦不不不。那样已经不奏效了，所以Kaito 仍然记得你和认你为 Master，就像他说的，他永远不会丢下你一个人。

Yay！我终于译完啦！！！不过更新前有几点必须更正：
a) 请看第一页22楼的回复，已经补上被吞的几段。我到现在才注意到！非常抱歉。

b）Shota = 正太，不是”Shorta“，这是某些作者的错别字，也有的说 “You're a shota, I'm taller than you ”。 抱歉，是我没去好好找资料。┳＿┳
c）这本小说的作者之前的全名是 Watery pandoraマジック，现在是 Pastel donuts マジック。
d）作者说这本小说是他（或她？）一边读书一边写的，所以很多错误。比如那只狗的名字应该是 "Bentley" 不是 “Bently"。下一章才改过来。

Miku：所以，就是以上这几点啦，下次大家发现什么不对的话，请告知这只猫（笑）。

Chapter 7: One alone is not enough...
Kaito stared at Len for what seemed like an eternity, never taking its eyes off the smaller
framed android; and you weren’t quite comfortable with that.
…There was another android in this house. Therefore, he was no longer the only vocaloid in his master’s presence… To him, this was simply, incomprehensible.
You did not belong to another vocaloid, and he refuse to share.


You could tell that Kaito wasn’t being its usual self, and still not knowing its intentions, you had cleared your throat to finally dissolve the awkward silence between Kaito and poor Len.
第七章：只有一个是不够的……
Kaito 盯着连盯了很长一段时间，视线似乎永远离不开这个体格比较小的安卓；而你对此感到很不舒服。
……这栋房子有另一个安卓。因此，他再也不是他主人身边唯一的Vocaloid了……这点对于他，只是纯粹的，无法理解。
你并不属于另一个Vocaloid，他拒绝分享。
你看得出Kaito 并不是平常的他，依然不知道他意图的情形下，你已经清了清喉咙化解 Kaito 与可怜的连之间尴尬的沉默。

“Ehhem‐ Kaito, don’t stare like that…”
You cleared your throat, immediately getting the attention of the older android, which had looked back at you upon realizing that you had voiced its name.
“ Alright, Kaito this is Len, another of your kind. He’ll be staying here with us and I’m sure you’ll be happy to have him around. He’s been here for about a month now, and I expect you to treat him as if you guys were old pals, alright?”
You expectantly enquired after introducing the Kagamine android to Kaito, intentionally letting Kaito know that you value Len and hopefully, he wouldn’t do anything stupid or murderous, like what he did with Bentley‐ not that you’ll ever leave Len alone with Kaito!
“咳嗯—— Kaito，别那样盯着人家……”
你清了清喉咙，立刻引起那位比较年长的安卓注意，就在他意识到你叫他的名字时，已经转过头看着你。
“好了，Kaito这位是连，你另一个同类。他会和我们一起住在这里，我相信有他在你会高兴。他呆在这里大概有一个月了，我希望你像老朋友那样对待他，好吗？”
在将这个镜音安卓介绍给Kaito 之后，你期待地问道，故意让 Kaito 知道你珍惜连并且希望他不会做出像他对Bentley 那样愚蠢或凶残的事——你是永远不会让连单独和 Kaito 在一起的！
（P/S：还有一个原因： Kaito 会把他吃掉啊，Master 可不放心。）

“You’re a Kaito automaton, I’m so happy to meet another of my kind! Are you new to master?”
Len smiled, looking up at Kaito, who in turn, had been displaying closed emotions, until wittily returning the gentle beam, a selective prompt known as deception. Certainly, under such a ‘welcoming’ smile, Kaito had detested every chip and circuit inside of Len.
“Konichiwa.. Boku wa Shion Kaito. Hajimemashte, Len. I am deemed as master’s first vocaloid; it is a …pleasure to have another of my kind in master’s home” smiled Kaito, seeming genuinely pleased, despite the hatred on the inside.
After having Kaito introduce himself, you didn’t wait to whisked Len away to the kitchen where the both of you spent the rest of the evening together, having him help preparing dinner and talking about all sorts of things; leaving a rather lonely Kaito to stand by the corner of the living room, enviously watching Len taking his rightful place…
“你是Kaito 型的机械人，我很高兴见到我另外一位同类！你是新来的吗？”
连笑了道，朝上望着已经呈现出亲密神情的Kaito，风趣地回应他的微笑，一种名为欺骗的提示符。当然，在这样“友善”的笑容底下，Kaito 已经恨上连体内每一个芯片与线路。
“Konichiwa..Boku wa Shion Kaito. Hajimemashte, Len。我被视为主人的第一个 Vocaloid……很高兴……有另外的同类在主人的房子里。”Kaito 微笑道，看起来真的很高兴，尽管心里很憎恨。
在Kaito 自我介绍后，你迫不及待地将连快速带去厨房，两个人就在那里待了一个晚上，他帮你准备晚餐，然后聊各种各样的事情；留下Kaito 孤零零地站在客厅的角落，妒嫉地看着连取代本应是他的位置……

Later that night, you went to bed with Len charging in your room.
“Goodnight, master. You have a busy day tomorrow” Len blushed and like Kaito, he had kept records of your daily activities, but you were more profound about the materialized pink glow on his face. How did the creator’s do that? Making the new vocaloid models blush like that… Maybe it was a sequence of fibrous lighting? Whatever it is, you thought it was creative and that it brought life to these robots.
“Goodnight Len, remember to shut down after charge completes ok?”
“I am aware of that, master”
You smiled at his sassy feedback, finally closing your eyes and falling asleep at the soft‐ virtual, pulsating sounds Len’s mechanical body makes while charging, though on the other hand, you were quite unaware of the presence of that obsessive machine standing by your room door, pretty much able to listen to listen on all you were saying.
那天晚上，你和在你房间充电的连一起睡觉。
“晚安，主人。明天是你繁忙的一天。”连红着脸，就如Kaito，他已经保存你日常活动的记录，但是你比较注意他脸上那人造化的粉色亮光。那位创造者是如何做到那样的？造出会这样脸红的新型号Vocaloid……可能这是种？无论如何，你认为这点有创意，也给了这些机械人生命。
“晚安连，充完电后记得关机，OK？”
“这我知道，Master。”
你对他傲慢的回应报以一笑，最后闭上你的眼睛然后在连的机体因充电而发出轻柔，虚拟的跳动声睡下，然而另一边你并没有意识到那个执着的机械人就站在你房门外的存在，对你所说的话全部听得一清二楚。

You said goodnight to Len, and for the first, you had never said that to Kaito. It’s been about Len all evening, and it was as if the bluenette android was never there. Based on the sound of your voice, you seem to be happy around Len, compare to the display of expressions around him. He didn’t observe you smiling at him the way you did with Len, but that didn’t change Kaito views on you.
Never could it be thought that a machine could be in such denial, Kaito still believing that you were interested in him, and that you were only distracted. He’s not leaving any time soon, so eventually, you’ll look at him again.
你对连说晚安，然在这之前，你从来没有那样对Kaito 说过。已经整个晚上都是连，这个蓝发的安卓像是从来没有在那里似的。依据你的声音，你似乎比较喜欢待在连的身边，和你对他所呈现的表情相比的话。他没有看见你对连那样对他笑过，但这点并没有改变Kaito 对你的想法。
从来没有想过一台机械可以这般拒绝接受事实，Kaito仍然相信你对他感兴趣，只是你分心了。他是不会离开的，直到最后你再次看见他。

“…Goodnight, masuta” the blue haired vocaloid voiced, in a futile attempt to at least hear you reciprocate those words to him, but his voicing had never reached your field of audit.
Upon being unable to detect a response from his master, Kaito had chosen not to give up or shut down until he was able to detect a response from you, even if it meant keeping his system up and running throughout the entire night.
And so he did. So obsessed with his newest master, Kaito had stood by the door, still awaiting the response that never came…
…For his master’s heart now belongs to a new vocaloid.
“……晚安，Masuta。”这个蓝发的 Vocaloid 以一种至少听到你回应他那些句子的徒劳说道，可他的声音是永远不会到达你的听力范围。
在无法探测到他主人的回应时，Kaito已经选择不放弃或者关机直到他能够探测到你的回应为止，即使这意味着要整夜保持与运行他的系统。
然后他真的做了。对他的主人是多么的执着，Kaito已经站在门前，依然等待着那个永远不会到来的回应……
……因为他主人现在的心属于一个新的 Vocaloid。
