The Present Perfect Tense 



 
The Structure: 


 It is formed with has/have + done 
 
(‘done’ here is the past participle form of the verbs)

现在完成时的用法：

1、 表示发生在不确定的过去时间的动作，
并强调对现在造成的影响。
We use it to talk about sth.when we don’t know exactly when it happened and also the things that are connected with the present.






 They have finished their homework.
 They finished their homework an hour ago.
 I have had my supper. Now I am full.

常与already , just, yet, recently, before, in the last few days, in the past few years等词＆词组连用
They haven’t cleaned the classroom yet.
 
She has already seen the film.

He has just had a shower.

Great changes have taken place in the 
past ten years.


常与ever, never等副词连用，例如：
a. Have you ever used a computer ? 
 No, I haven’t . I’ve never used one.
b. The present perfect tense with ever and superlatives
These are the nicest presents we’ve ever received.
Dick is the cleverest student I’ve ever seen. 
Minnie is the _________ teacher I have ever met.
c. The present perfect tense with never and comparatives
I have never seen a cleverer student (than Dick).
2.表示指过去发生的事一直持续到现在（也许会
持续下去），动词必须是延续性的动词或状态动词。
常与for或since引导的表示一段时间的状语连用.提问用How long
 Bosson has been here for half an hour.

b. Henly: How long have you known Minnie?
 Dick: For ten years.

c. Eagle has read five books since the end of 
 last month.
在由since 引导的时间状语从句中，从句用一般过去时，主句用现在完成时，例如:
Sancheiz has been to many places of 
 interest since he arrived in the city last week.

b. Hero hasn’t seen Helen any more 
 since they last met at the party.
3*. 用在It is the first /second time (that)后面的从句中，例如：
It is the first time that I’ve been here.
 

4. have been to 
 have gone to
Steven has gone to America.
He is in America and you can’t find him.

Jessica has been to America twice.
He has visited America and has returned now.

Celia has been in America for three years.
He has lived in America for three years.
注意：1、现在完成时可与表示现在时间的时间状语连用，例如：this summer, this week, today等。
但是不可以与表示过去时间的时间状语连用,如：last week, yesterday, an hour ago等，
Millie has practised playing the piano a lot this summer.
Vincent had his breakfast an hour ago.

注意: 2、瞬间动词（即表示短暂动作的动词，如：
join, leave, begin, die, turn off/on, get married, buy等不能与“for +一段时间和since引导的时间状语连用”，例如：
I have borrowed a book.
I have borrowed the book for a week. 
I have kept the book for a week.
I borrowed the book a week ago.
It is already a week since I borrowed the book.

过去完成时：
表示在过去某一实践活动作之前（即过去
的过去）已发生的动作或存在的情况.
常与“by the end of) +过去时间或过去某一
段时间”（如：by9:30, by the end of last 
month) 等时间状语连用；也常用在含有
由连词when ,before, after等引导的时间
状语从句的主从复合句中，其中在过去
时间段里先发生的动作用过去完成时，
后发生的动作用一般过去时，例如：

Cockroach had learned 30 new words
 by the end of last week.
When Jimmy arrived home, his mother had 
already prepared a big meal.

直接引语向间接引语转换时，若主句为一般
过去时且从句所发生的动作先于主句谓语的
动作，则从句用过去完成时，例如：
“I’ve already finished all my homework,” 
Morning said to her teacher.

Morning told her teacher that she had 
already finished all her homework.
